The first time Kate reached out to me through email, I could sense her warmth. (Not everyone has the gift of coming across that well in writing!) She told me about her and Ryan, and their sweet pup, as well as how much they love their niece. Sometimes I can tell almost immediately that a couple is a good fit for me, and this was one of those times! When I met Kate and Ryan for their engagement photos, I compared them to Chip and Joanna. If you know me you realize what a compliment that is! In each step of the wedding process these two were kind, organized, and focused on all the right things. Their wedding day reflected all of this, and was just the most wonderful celebration! From the perfectly gorgeous details, to the meaningful first look, all the way through the sweet ceremony and fun reception…every piece of the day was meaningful, full of joy and a reflection of the strong and steady love Kate and Ryan share. And I think you’ll agree that these two are incredibly gorgeous and photogenic! Their portraits are some of my all time favorites. Enjoy just a sample of their beautiful wedding!

By far my favorite detail from Kate and Ryan’s wedding – these custom pins Kate gifted to her groom. They feature his beautiful mom’s photograph. Ryan lost his mom and this was such a special way to have her with him on their wedding day.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is just one reason I love first looks…. These moments were so precious!

The barn at this lovely venue was built in 1910 and is such a lovely space for a wedding ceremony! I adored all the candles, and the hearth with the gorgeous florals and velvet runner!

Kate and Ryan had the most gorgeous sunset on their wedding day, so of course we had to take some photos with that incredible sky! This was an opportunity for me to do something unique and different with portraits, and I love them so much!
