A big piece of an engagement session is taking the time to get to know a couple before their wedding day! I love hearing a couple’s love story, finding out details about wedding plans, and letting them get used to what its like in front of my camera. I met up with Meghan and Mitchell in DC last weekend, and we had such a fun time getting to know each other as we explored both Dumbarton Oaks and the National Cathedral. I loved how natural they were in front of the camera, and how they make one another smile! Their wedding next Spring at Longbranch Plantation is going to be so lovely!
So glad we were able to get some pics of their sweet dog Moose during their session!
Meghan and Mitchell met when Mitchell was working at the National Cathedral, and Meghan was teaching at the National Cathedral school. I thought it was so wonderful for the two of them to have photos at this location that will always be special to them!
Meghan and Mitchell, thank you for the fun session! I can’t wait to see you again in May!
What location in DC is this? Particularly the images at the very beginning. It is so beautiful!!
Hi Sarah! It’s Dumbarton Oaks in Georgetown. It is a beautiful location!
